CHICAGO-tag has reached an agreement with Corelle to develop and market Corelle-branded kitchen textiles, table linens and flatware.
All of the products will feature Corelle dinnerware designs, and all will be branded Corelle Coordinates, according to a joint statement from the two companies. The initial launch, which will take place at the International Home + Housewares Show next month, will encompass kitchen towels, dish cloths, potholders, oven mitts, aprons, tablecloths, placemats, chairpads, kitchen rugs and flatware.
Norman Glassberg, tag’s founder and president, said, “We believe that adding kitchen textiles and other products that either match or coordinate with Corelle allows consumers to have a more cohesive look in the kitchen. Corelle is so durable, and the customers live with it every day, so why not have the Corelle design on more products in the kitchen?”
John Grob of J. Grob Associates of Kensington, Md., will lead the sales effort for the new line.
