BARLASTON, United Kingdom-Revman International has signed an agreement with WWRD Holdings to produce a licensed collection of bed and bath products under WWRD’s Wedgwood brand for distribution in the Americas.
A Wedgwood statement said this is the first in a series of licenses in an effort to extend the brand into a full Wedgwood home offering, which will eventually span across a number of categories. Revman will begin distributing its line in the United States for fall 2014. The collection will feature iconic Wedgwood patterns that will be adapted for the home furnishings category. At retail, the line will be geared toward department stores and specialty stores, the statement said.
Leigh Taylor, Wedgwood vice president of marketing, said that Revman’s “sourcing, design and distribution expertise are perfectly suited to bring this exciting range of Wedgwood home products to the American market.”
Richard Roman, Revman’s president and CEO, said, “Wedgwood is a global brand, known the world over for its high standards of quality and excellent design. We believe our consumers will respond most favorably to this impressive new collection.”
