LAS VEGAS–A number of retailers throughout the country have said they will participate in the National Home Furnishings Month campaign, according to a statement from the World Market Center, the campaign’s sponsor.
Eight thousand retail stores have signed up to take advantage of the store locator on the campaign’s Web site, homeyet.com, the statement said. More than 500 retailers will participate in the Home Mortgage Sweepstakes, which will free one homeowner from having to make mortgage payments for one year. Another 460 retailers have said they plan to use the “Is It Home Yet?” advertising campaign and its various advertisements and promotional tools.
The campaign has also received endorsements from the National Home Furnishings Association, the Western Home Furnishings Association, the Home Furnishings Independents Associations, the Sustainable Furnishings Council, the American Society of Furniture Designers, the Specialty Sleep Association, Women in the Home Industries Today and the International Sleep Products Association.
