Perfect Fit to Expand Distribution Channels with Health-related Products



CHARLOTTE, N.C.—Perfect Fit Industries has inaugurated a strategic initiative focused on health-related products, which is geared toward extending its business into the hospitality and health-care markets.

The effort will focus on product innovations that include the company’s anti-bed-bug line, an anti-microbial technology, a fabric treatment that eliminates odors, and a multi-component bedding program developed through Perfect Fit’s partnership with the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. Geoff Hanff, a 22-year veteran of hospitality and institutional markets, is joining the company to work with Ed Monks, institutional manager, to further this strategy. Hanff’s title and specific responsibilities are still being developed, a company spokesman said.

The initiative is intended to expand Perfect Fit’s customer base beyond its current orientation with big-box retailers, according to a company statement. “The innovations we’re bringing to retail are a ‘perfect fit’ with the hospitality and health-care segments,” said Dan Hammer, president and chief executive officer. “These are just two of the industries we’re targeting for future growth.”
