NEW YORK-NYC & Co., New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, is welcoming NY Now in its first winter edition, which will take place Feb. 1-6.
Fred Dixon, NYC & Co.’s interim president and CEO, said the organization is looking forward to the show and to welcoming its “business-focused market-goers” to the city. “With more than 35,000 attendees year after year, NY Now is an important contributor to the city’s booming convention and tourism industry,” Dixon said.
The show, formerly known as the New York International Gift Fair, debuted its new name and format last August.
“We are thrilled to kick off the first winter edition of NY Now this February,” said Christian Falkenberg, the show’s director and senior vice president of GLM, the show’s owner and manager. “The New York market not only offers a unique opportunity for buyers to be exposed to hundreds of emerging and innovative new resources, but also entertains and inspires market participants with the city’s wide array of attractions, retail and restaurants.”
The show will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal Pier 94.
