NEW YORK–NY Now New, one the four main sections of the rebranded New York International Gift Fair, will display products from some 250 exhibitors new to the show.
The section will be located at Pier 94 of the Passenger Ship Terminal in New York City, which, along with the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, will be the venue for the show. Christian Falkenberg, director of NY Now and senior vice president of show owner and manager GLM, said the show has increased its New collection by about 10 percent for its debut next month, and “we’re on pace to be sold out with 20,000 net square feet of exhibit space this office.”
The products that will be on display in the New section will run across the home and lifestyle spectrum, and will be representative of NY Now’s three other sections: Home, Lifestyle and Handmade. The show will also hold a welcome reception to celebrate the opening of the New section on Aug. 17 from 5-6 p.m.
