WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-NY Now Lifestyle, one of the four sections at the rebranded show, will showcase 1,100 exhibitors at Level 1 of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center at the August show.
The vendors on display will feature gifts, juvenile products, personal accessories and personal-care and wellness products. Christian Falkenberg, NY Now show director and senior vice president with show owner and manager GLM, said the products will be grouped in four broad sections—Baby + Child (products for children aged from 0 to 10), Gift (stationery and publishing, trend merchandise, pet products, collectibles, premiums, souvenirs, novelties and others), Personal Accessories (fine and fashion jewelry, leather goods, wearables and others) and Personal Care + Wellness (natural/organic products, cosmetics, beauty accessories, fine fragrances, skin and hair-care products, bath and body accessories). The section will also have “several strategically themed ‘neighborhoods,’” as Falkenberg said, to make shopping more efficient for buyers.
NY Now will also present seminars targeted at lifestyle-products retailers. Among those highlighted in a GLM statement are “Visual Merchandising for Lifestyle Products, presented by the Day Spa Association; and “Design Destinations—Where Fashion, Home & Lifestyle Design Is Going Next,” presented by Fashion Group International.
