WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.– Beginning this month, GLM will hold seminars for exhibitors at the New York International Gift Fair to prepare them for the winter Gift Fair in February.
The series, which will include four Webinars and one onsite session, will address strategies for success at the show, including preshow marketing, maximizing onsite sales opportunities, preshow and onsite operations and closing and generating sales after the show. They are being jointly produced by GLM and Right Angle Strategies, a business strategy and coaching firm. As an additional offering, Right Angle Strategies will offer all seminar participants free, 15-minute in-booth business consultations during the Gift Fair.
The first Webinar, “Preshow Marketing to Drive Your Sales,” is scheduled for Oct. 14 from 2-3:30 p.m. The second, “How to Generate Sales, will take place on Nov. 11 from 2-3:30 p.m. The third, “NYIGF-Operations Made Easy,” will take place on Dec. 9 from 2-3:30 p.m. The final session, “How to Manage Orders and Leads Generated,” is scheduled for Feb. 10, 2011, from 2-3:30 p.m.
The onsite session, “Ask the Experts-Business Strategies for Gift & Home Suppliers,” will take place on Feb. 1 from 8-9 a.m. at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, one of the Gift Fair venues along with Passenger Ship Terminal Piers 92 and 94.
