LOS ANGELES-The L.A. Mart has renamed and rebranded its gift shows under the acronym GALLA, which stands for Give and Live Los Angeles.
The new branding includes the tagline “L.A.’s Global Gift + Home Market Event.” This initiative “is meant to inspire and give credence to the fact that the L.A. Mart’s markets are not only a grand event, but also the place to fine amazing product resources in a shopping environment that is entertaining, educational and experiential,” said a statement from the L.A. Mart. Some 15,000-plus lines of wholesale gifts, home accessories and furniture that are sourced on a national and global scale are available during the markets, the statement added.
The new brand will get its first full exposure during the next GALLA show, July 17-22, and will thenceforth be used to identify the quarterly markets held throughout the year, during January, March/April, July and September/October.
