NEW YORK–The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will hold its new trade show for Japanese textiles at The Setai Fifth Avenue here next week.
The event will showcase textiles and textile designs from Japan’s textiles manufacturers, many of which are located in the areas affected by the earthquake and tsunami that hit the country last March. Among the products on display will be silks, knits and denims, which are geared toward U.S. fabric buyers and fashion houses.
The show is scheduled for Jan. 18-19. The Setai Fifth Avenue is a boutique hotel located at 400 5th Ave.
