SHANGHAI-The 2014 Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles, August edition, is expected to be the largest show in its history, with more than 1,400 exhibitors from nearly 30 countries and regions, according to show owner and organizer Messe Frankfurt.
Scheduled for Aug. 27-29, the show will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. There will be an additional hall at this year’s show, bringing the total number of exhibit halls to 13, covering 150,400 square meters (about 1.6 million square feet). Country and regional pavilions will include Belgium, India, Italy, Korea, Morocco (new to the show), Pakistan, Taiwan and Turkey.
Chinese regional pavilions at the show will include Binzhou, Gaoyang, Haining, Huzhou, Nantong, Pujiang, Shaoxing, Tongxiang and Yuhang.
The bedding and towel sections will feature companies such as Bronte by Moon (United Kingdom), Curt Bauer (Germany), HOdo (China), Hongliu (China), Martinelli (Italy), Menglan (China), Mundotextil (Portugal), Salsa (China) and Terry Palmer (Indonesia). Advansa (Germany) and Hungarian firm Naturtex will again be exhibiting.
The show is jointly organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK); the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; and the China Home Textile Association.
