HONG KONG–The Hong Kong Houseware Fair and the Hong Kong International Home Textiles Fair opened earlier today, and will both continue through April 23.
Both shows are taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. One key focus at both fairs is environmentally friendly products. The Houseware Fair includes a new Green Living Zone, which is showcasing “green” housewares products for homes and buildings, while eco-friendly products made of biodegradable materials or with green manufacturing techniques will be spotlighted at the Home Textiles Fair.
Another focus at the fairs is on design and branding. The themed zones bringing together creative designs with practical utility are the Hall of Elegance at the Houseware Fair and the Hall of Glamour at the Home Textiles Fair.
The two fairs are taking place one week before the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair and the Hong Kong International Printing and Packaging Fair, both of which are scheduled for April 27-30. The Gifts Fair will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, and the Printing & Packaging Fair will be at Asia World-Expo. All four shows are organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and are expected to attract more than 6,600 exhibitors, all together.
