WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.—More than 300 international companies, representing six continents and 47 countries, are slated to exhibit at the winter New York International Gift Fair, according to a statement from GLM, the show’s owner and manager.
Part of the Gift Fair’s global contingent will be 15 international government-sponsored sections. Eight of these—from Africa, England, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Mexico and Russia—will be located in NYIGF’s General Gift division. Other government-sponsored exhibit areas—from England, Egypt, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Mexico and Peru—will be positioned in the Handmade, Accent on Design and Tabletop & Housewares divisions.
The Gift Fair is scheduled for Jan. 29-Feb. 3 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal Piers 92 and 94, in New York City. About 2,800 companies will be exhibiting, and attendance should total about 35,000 from all 50 states and 85 countries throughout the world.
