ARLINGTON, Va.-Ellery HomeStyles and the National Sleep Foundation (NSF) have joined forces for the launch of a social-media marketing campaign and retail merchandising effort to promote Ellery’s Sound Asleep line of window treatments.
The line has been designated the Official Room-Darkening Curtain of the foundation. The campaign and merchandising effort will be unveiled to retailers who visit Ellery’s showroom at 295 Fifth Ave. in New York City during the upcoming New York Home Fashions Market. Both programs will debut in March 2014, to tie in to NSF’s Sleep Awareness Week, March 2-9.
The social-media campaign will include a consumer sweepstakes, in which entrants will have a chance to win a room makeover using Sound Asleep curtains. Ellery is also creating Pinterest boards and retail website banners, and is promoting the campaign on its website, elleryhomestyles.com, as well as on a microsite set up for Sound Asleep, soundasleepcurtains.com.
NSF is also providing educational materials, sleep information and tips on getting a better night’s sleep on its consumer website, bedroom.sleepfoundation.org.
