DALLAS-Attendance at the recent Dallas Total Home & Gift Market increased across multiple categories and regions, according to a statement from Dallas Market Center.
Cindy Morris, the market center’s chief operating officer, said the market recorded an overall attendance increase and that “hundreds of new and expanded exhibitors were unveiled. Buyers showed up early and attended from all 50 states and 55 countries.” Based on this, “we anticipate a strong and successful 2014,” Morris added.
The market center said there were significant increases in attendance from the Northeast, Southwest and West regions. Among product categories, “spikes in attendance” were experienced in the design, furniture, home accents and lighting industries.
In addition, the Dallas Market App—the application that enables buyers and exhibitors to navigate the market—posted 3,200 new downloads. Buyers also participated in more than 90 special events and more than 50 hospitalities.
