COMPTON, Calif.—Crown Crafts’ Infant Products subsidiary has formed an alliance with Project Nursery to provide consumers with information on Crown Crafts’ NoJo brand of nursery bedding.
This tie-in will channel facts on the NoJo brand to parents through Project Nursery’s “vast online forum” of lifestyle ideas, tips and information, according to a statement issued by the Infant Products unit. The site, projectnursery.com, will carry ideas and practical advice on how to make the most of NoJo products, according to Nanci Freeman, president of Crown Crafts Infant Products. The joint venture will kick off with a “Design with Style” event hosted by Babies ”R” Us stores nationwide on Sept. 18, which will be sponsored by the NoJo brand and developed with Melisa Fluhr and Pam Ginocchio, co-founders and co-editors of Project Nursery, and which will deliver an interactive seminar with tips and creative ideas for decorating a baby’s nursery.
Freeman described the partnership as “just one of the ways we’re enhancing our social-media presence.” She also observed that an increasing number of mothers and families are using Web sites like projectnursery.com to research products and exchange ideas.
