NEW YORK-CHF Industries has reached an agreement with Ivanka Trump for a licensed collection of home textiles.
The deal gives CHF the right to manufacture, market and distribute the Ivanka Trump home collection, which will consist of sheets, duvets, pillow shams, decorative accessories, window treatments, bath accessories, bath towels and rugs. The line will be targeted at upper-tier department stores and specialty stores, and the retail launch has been set for spring 2014.
Trump, daughter of Donald Trump, is executive vice president of development and acquisitions of the Trump Organization. According to Trump and Joan Karron, CHF’s executive vice president, the design of the collection will reflect Trump’s experience in the real-estate and hospitality sectors. “Her style has been identified as ‘warm modern,’ a combination of luxury and glamour with a modern sensibility, perfect for today’s customers,” Karron said.
A joint statement from Trump and CHF added that she is currently in discussions with “potential home furnishings partners” for a line of Ivanka Trump dinnerware and glassware, silverware, giftware and furniture.
