COSTA MESA, Calif.–Anna’s Linens has established the goal of opening a minimum of 30 new stores a year going forward.
The specialty retailer has also named Tracy Servaes senior buyer of tabletop and accessories, and Lance Stern as manager of its e-commerce. Servaes is responsible for home decor, tabletop and decorative accessories, with a focus on growing the Anna’s Linens brand as a provider of fashion for the home. She reports to Carie Doll, chief merchandising officer.
Stern oversees the improvement of the retailer’s website’s functionality and esthetic, along with the creation of a fulfillment center for this fall, and with defining the retailer’s e-commerce strategy and increasing consumer engagement. He reports to Steve Strickland, vice president of marketing and e-commerce. Both Servaes’ and Stern’s positions are new ones for Anna’s Linens.
The retailer said it has already opened 13 new stores to date in 2011. It currently operates more than 275 stores nationwide, and said it would have 300 stores total by the end of this year.
