NEW YORK–Nonprofit organization Aid to Artisans will hold its Market Readiness Program August 18-22, during the New York International Gift Fair.
The four-and-a-half day hands-on program, held every January and August at the NYIGF, provides business training for international artisan producers, designers, exporters and craft-based organization leaders. It will include seminars presented by industry experts in the fields of design, product development, green marketing, U.S. retail and importing. Topics will include an analysis of the U.S. market, design and color trends, costing and pricing, Internet marketing, importer panels and more.
The cost for the program is $1,799 before June 15, and $1,999 after. The final registration deadline is June 29. The registration form can be found at aidtoartisans.org under the Training & Resources tab.
