WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.–An influx of first-time exhibitors and companies returning from a market hiatus is expected to bring some 600 new suppliers to the summer edition of NY Now, according to GLM, which owns and operates the show. These newcomers will be among some 2,800+ total exhibiting companies presented throughout NY Now’s four collections – Home, Lifestyle, Handmade and New!
“Exhibitor interest is at an all-time high,” said Christian Falkenberg, NY Now director and GLM senior vice president. “At this pace, we expect to increase the number of new-to-market resources from the usual 400 companies to a record 600 companies returning or making their NY Now debut this August.”
Notable newcomers and returning companies within Home Furnishings + Textiles and Tabletop + Gourmet Housewares include Arte Italica, Auratic, Bella Notte Linens, Claude Dozorme Cutlery, Mepra, Modern History, Natural Curiosities, Noir Furniture, Pine Cone Hill, Sagaform, Shady Acres Organic Farm, Tony Wais Design and VDS Group/Voila Home. Among key new and returning companies within Accent on Design are Ampersand, Creative Danes/ Menu, Donna Wilson, EKOBO Ecology & Design, Hasegawa USA, Justin Teilhet Porcelain, Martone Cycling, Native Union, Poppin, Stelton, Wintercheck Factory and others.
The show is scheduled to take place Aug. 16-20 at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Center and Passenger Ship Terminal Pier 94.
