NEW YORK–Porcelain designer Michael Wainwright announced that Lenox Corp. has become his new financial partner.
The Michael Wainwright brand will maintain its unique and separate identity, and the designer will continue to design from his studio in the Berkshires, according to the announcement. Wainwright said that with the resources and support of the Lenox Corp. behind him, he can increase his commitment to design, marketing and the consistent delivery of quality product and service to his retail partners.
“I could not be more excited about this new partnership,” Wainwright said. “Having the support, resources and expertise that Lenox Corp. lends to my brand will afford me the time to concentrate on my true passion, which is making things. The fact that my products will continue to be ‘Made in America’ is the icing on the cake.”

Michael Wainwright will introduce his new fall 2012 collections in his 17th floor showroom at Forty One Madison Avenue during the upcoming Tabletop Show, beginning April 17.
