NEW YORK–Numerous Forty One Madison showrooms are preparing to open during The New York International Gift Fair, Jan. 26-30.
According to Laurie Burns, the tabletop building’s senior vice president and director, the count of participating companies that will have their giftware and accessories front-and-center for the winter show is close to 30. “Forty One Madison houses flagship showrooms of many core brands,” said Burns. “And they now have both the product assortments and minimums to work with specialty stores. These showrooms and products are not to be missed.”
Continuing its custom, Forty One Madison will offer complimentary luxury bus service between its location and the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, beginning Monday, Jan. 28 through Wednesday, Jan. 30, available during show hours, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Forty One Madison also is joining with New York International Gift Fair producer George Little Management and permanent showroom buildings 230 Fifth Avenue and 7 West New York to offer attendees access to The Museum at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) at 227 W. 27th Street Jan. 25–31. Show goers can present their winter 2013 badge for admission at any time during Market Week. On view will be “Fashion & Technology,” showcasing how technological advancements have shaped fashion design from the mid-18th century to now.
