NEW YORK–Christofle has promoted Nicolas Krafft to president and CEO to the Americas. Krafft previously served as president and CEO for the North American subsidiary of the French silver company.
In addition, Ginny Gerard has been named to the newly created position of executive vice president, overseeing the company’s retail, wholesale, online and marketing divisions. Gerard, who reports to Krafft, most recently served as vice president of sales and also supervised the marketing department. Prior to that, Gerard served as national retail director and before that, director of business development for the central United States and Canada.
Christofle will also relocate its Madison Avenue flagship boutique here later this year, complete with a new store concept showcasing unique custom metalwork from its haute orfevrerie workshops and intended to showcase limited edition and decorative works as well as architectural finishes. “This year we will focus almost exclusively on our brand and the unique lifestyle that we represent,” Gerard said. “There really isn’t another company out there that offers precisely the same mix of luxury products as Christofle.
