MINNEAPOLIS-Target is readying the final installment of the Michael Graves Design Collection for a launch next month.
This new product group will mark the last year of the partnership between Graves and Target. It will consist of kitchen gadgets, cleaning tools and storage products, and will arrive in stores in March. It will be available in stores and online through Dec. 31 or as long as supplies last, Target said in a company statement.
The Michael Graves Design Collection for Target launched in January 1999. Since then, the two companies have collaborated on more than 2,000 products, including the Pop Art Toaster and Spinning Whistle Teakettle. Stacia Andersen, Target’s senior vice president of home merchandising, noted that Michael Graves “was Target’s first and longest-standing design partner to date.”
In addition, the two firms partnered on architectural projects including the Washing Monument Restoration, the Elephant Fountain at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the Target Wing of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
