Sam’s Club to Debut Wi-Fi in U.S. Stores

       

       

BENTONVILLE, Ark.—Sam’s Club will offer Wi-Fi access in all of its U.S. locations by November.

In an announcement at its annual holiday meeting in Orlando, the warehouse-club retailer said the AT&T-provided service will allow greater access for club members to Wi-Fi through their smart phones while shopping as well as provide access for shoppers to product reviews, help in researching potential purchases and access to its Web site, samsclub.com, the retailer said.

Sam’s Club also said it will offer a smart-phone application for the iPhone, BlackBerry and Droid platforms.
