NEW YORK-Ralph Lauren Corp. has appointed Christopher Peterson senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Peterson will assume his new post on Sept. 24. He will be responsible for the company’s global finance and information technology organizations, and will report to Roger Farah, president and chief operating officer.
He will succeed Robert Madore, senior vice president of finance, who has been serving as interim chief financial officer. Madore has been in the interim role since July, when Tracey Travis, the previous chief financial officer, left to assume the same position with Estee Lauder.
Peterson will take his new post after serving for the past 20 years in various executive roles for Procter & Gamble. Most recently, he was chief financial officer for P&G’s Global Household Care division.
