MINNEAPOLIS-The next wave of The Shops at Target, the retailer’s limited-time in-store and online boutiques in partnerships with specialty retailers, will open on Sept. 9.
The first boutiques debuted on May 6. Among the boutiques in the second grouping are The Curiosity Shoppe, featuring home accessories and gifts among other merchandise; and Patch NYC, offering art, home décor, candles and other items.
The Shops at Target concept involves partnerships with the owners of specialty stores and boutiques to co-create limited-edition collections of a variety of products for Target shoppers both in stores and online. The Curiosity Shoppe, based on San Francisco, markets products such as kitchenware and decorative pillows, along with novelty pieces such as stationery and games. Based in Boston, Patch NYC offers barware, bedding, tabletop and home accents.
Each of the five shops, which opened in this week’s first wave of The Shops at Target, will be open for six weeks.
