Macy’s to Reveal Winner of Makeover Contest

NEW YORK–Three finalists will vie for a shot to take it all in the second season of “Macy’s Million Dollar Makeover with Clinton Kelly” that will air on TV next week.

On Tuesday, April 17 at 7 p.m. Eastern time on TLC, viewers can watch as three entrepreneurs make their professional dreams a reality with the guidance of mentors in the area of fashion, food or home.

Special appearances will also be made by three celebrity judges – Tommy Hilfiger, Martha Stewart and Marcus Samuelsson — who will select the ultimate winner of $1 million.

The finalists, who submitted their applications on Macy’s Facebook page, are Kathleen Selman of Tampa, Fla., who created a line of environmentally-friendly handbags with LED light interiors, which she hopes to sell at Macy’s; Pat Pilla of New Hyde Park, N.Y., who developed portion-controlled, all natural Chee’Bonnets cheesecake balls; and Dylan Gold of San Francisco who quit his job to pursue
his furniture design dream and started “Dylan Gold Design Furniture” that he says fills the void between “cool concept and factory cheap stuff.”
