NEW YORK–Macy’s new mBlog, which the department-store retailer has launched, includes home content offering tips on design and lifestyles.
The blog, which can be accessed at macys.com/mblog, provides home, fashion, beauty and lifestyle information through partnerships with experts from such portals as fashionista.com and foodrepublic.com, along with Macy’s own experts. The home section appears on Wednesdays of each week, and offers site visitors ideas on design and entertaining.
Features from the home section include “Look Who’s Cooking,” in which celebrity chefs from Macy’s Culinary Council provide recipes and tips on preparing meals. In addition, other experts offer design ideas and suggestions for gift-giving occasions. There are also regular posts from foodrepublic.com.
According to Martine Reardon, Macy’s executive vice president for marketing, mBlog offers “high-quality content (on home, fashion and beauty) that gives readers direct access to a unique and influential set of voices.”
