Lord & Taylor Home Opens First Store

       

       

NEW YORK—The first Lord & Taylor Home store is slated for a soft opening today and its grand opening tomorrow in Paramus, N.J.

Measuring 22,900 square feet, the store is adjacent to the existing full-line Lord & Taylor store in the Fashion Center mall. It’s merchandise includes kitchen products, bedding and bath products. Designer brands, private label and national brands such as Gordon Ramsay, Mario Batali, Kate Spade, Marchesa, Trina Turk, Nespresso, Cuisinart, Calphalon, Joseph Joseph, Hotel Living, Dansk, Lenox and Gluckstein Home are all represented.

Fritz Winans, president and chief operating officer of specialty retail and global sourcing at Hudson’s Bay Trading Co., Lord & Taylor’s parent company, said the Lord & Taylor Home brand “is all about style, inspiration, color entertaining and how we live.”

The Paramus store is the first of two planned Lord & Taylor Home stores. The other, in Shrewsbury, N.J., is scheduled to open in late September.
