Kohl’s Promotes Brennan, Worthington, Eskenasi and McDonald

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis.—Four key executives at Kohl’s have been promoted to new posts.

Don Brennan, senior executive vice president, has been named chief merchandising officer, responsible for all of the retailer’s merchandising divisions, merchandising planning and allocation, and e-commerce. Brennan has also assumed oversight over product development.

John Worthington, senior executive vice president, has become chief administrative officer overseeing store operations, store administration, merchandise presentation, loss prevention, real estate and information services. Peggy Eskenasi, executive vice president of product development, has been promoted to senior executive vice president. Wes McDonald, executive vice president and chief financial officer, has been named senior executive vice president and chief financial officer.

A statement from Kohl’s announcing the appointments said they are part of the company’s executive-succession planning process. Kevin Mansell, chairman, president and chief executive officer, described the four executives as “proven leaders” who will continue to position Kohl’s for a successful future.

All of the promotions are effective tomorrow. A Kohl’s statement on the moves did not specify Eskenasi’s new responsibilities or the reporting assignments for each executive.
