BOSTON–Joss & Main has partnered with Habitat for Humanity International in an effort to provide safe, decent, affordable housing in partnership with low-income families. The collaboration involves two parts—a local Joss & Main volunteer build with Habitat for Humanity Northshore, supported by 15 employees in Lynn, Mass., and a national “Curate for a Cause” sales event taking place on jossandmain.com for 28 days, where 5 percent of purchases made will benefit Habitat.
“Habitat’s vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live strikes a chord with Joss & Main’s culture and has motivated our employees to give back through an all-day volunteer event in our Boston community,” said Paul Toms, general manager for Joss & Main. “At Joss & Main, we sell furnishings and decor that help transform a house into a home and create a positive and welcoming environment throughout. We’re pleased to give back and also motivate our shoppers to do the same as we make the dream of home ownership a reality for more people.”
Joss & Main’s 28-day “Curate for a Cause” sale event will feature a variety of furniture and home decor. Core items such as console tables, couches, dining room tables, chairs, rugs and lighting make up the assortment, which will be available for purchase on the company’s site from July 1 through July 29.
