HFN Names Ratliff Editor-in-Chief, Zisko New Managing Editor

NEW YORK–Duke Ratliff has been named editor-in-chief of HFN, effective Sept. 20, succeeding Warren Shoulberg, who has left the company to pursue other interests.

Ratliff has been with HFN, a division of Macfadden Communications Group, for 12 years as executive editor.

“I have known Duke for nearly 15 years and have always appreciated his enthusiasm and professionalism and his knowledge of the industries he covers,” said Seth Mendelson, HFN editorial director. “I am very confident that Duke will continue HFN’s high editorial standards and work well within the industry.”

Allison Zisko is rejoining HFN as managing editor/tabletop editor. Zisko was previously the tabletop editor at HFN, and she will return to report on the industry, while also overseeing HFN’s editorial content.
