Belk, Sen Elected to NRF Board

       

       

NEW YORK–Tim Belk, chairman and CEO of Belk Inc., and Laura Sen, president and CEO of BJ’s Wholesale Club, have been elected to serve on the board of directors of the National Retail Federation.

Also chosen as board members are David Jaffe, president and CEO of Ascena Retail Group; Craig L. Levra, chairman, president and CEO of Sport Chalet; and David Ratner, president of Dave’s Soda and Pet City. In addition, NRF said the following executives have been elected to the board as representatives of the Associate Member Advisory Council: Bill Gonzalez, general manager of worldwide distribution and services for Microsoft; Karen Lowe, general manager of global retail industry for IBM; Ramòn B. Martin, president of merchandise services Americas for American Express; and Alison Paul, principal with Deloitte & Touche.

The elections were announced during NRF’s Annual Convention and Expo, which is taking place here at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
