COSTA MESA, Calif.-With about one-third of its online traffic originating from mobile devices, Anna’s Linens has launched a mobile shopping website that, according to a company statement, is designed to enhance the online shopping experience “for those on the move.”
The retailer is also set to enter a new market, Augusta, Ga., with its 318th store. The location’s grand opening is scheduled for tomorrow.
The new site can be accessed from any Internet-enabled mobile device. It features the same functions as the retailer’s existing e-commerce site, annaslinens.com, but with what the company described as a more user-friendly design for smart phones and other mobile devices.
Through the mobile site, shoppers can browse and access the same offers and merchandise assortments found on annaslinens.com. In addition, users can manage their accounts, review order history and find store locations. They can also share preferred products by way of social-media sites such as Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter.
Also, all in-store and online coupons can be used on the mobile site. Anything saved in one’s personal mobile cart will transfer to the e-commerce site, and vice versa.
The Augusta store measures nearly 12,000 square feet, making it one of Anna’s Linens’ largest. Previously, the nearest location to this area was in Columbia, S.C.
