GREEN BAY, Wis.-Shopko has appointed Nancy Altman senior vice president and chief marketing officer, a newly created position for the Midwestern retailer.
Altman has assumed responsibility for overseeing the company’s marketing initiatives across its multiple formats, including brick-and-mortar stores and its e-commerce website. In addition, she will be in charge of communicating the Shopko brand to current and new customers, and for public relations efforts and the Shopko Foundation. She reports directly to Paul Jones, president and CEO.
Before joining Shopko, Altman served as vice president of marketing for Ulta Beauty, in which, according to a Shopko statement, she played a key role in the strategy to take Ulta public. Prior to that, she served in marketing positions for Premier Salons and Younkers.
