New York in Bloom
Macy’s New York took its famed flower show outdoors this year, offering the natural beauty of Brazil as a theme. The tented display, situated in the pedestrian-friendly Herald Square, complemented store window displays, Bouquets of the Day from some of New York’s top floral designers, and floral tablescapes from Lenox and Portmeirion inside the store.

French manufacturer Merci Gustave designs, produces and sells limited-edition zinc Eiffel Towers in different styles, including the Crazy Kiss version here. Making Food Funny
In “Funny Food” ($19.95, Welcome Books), mealtime becomes fun time as carrots turn into airplanes, boiled eggs into jugglers and pears into guitar players at the hands of jazz guitarist Bill Wurtzel. Mirror Image
Lalique boutiques in New York and Beverly Hills featured specially designed “Mirror Mirror” window displays to celebrate the partnership between the crystal company and the latest film version of the Snow White legend. Lalique pieces, including its Cactus Table, illuminate the chamber of the Evil Queen, played by Julia Roberts.
