EDISON, N.J.-Sferra has appointed Mary Shields as director of marketing, marking a return by Shields to the company after four and one-half years with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.
Shields has assumed responsibility over Sferra’s branding, advertising, marketing communications and social-media efforts. She reports to Steve Schneider, the company’s president.
When she was with the Martha Stewart organization, Shields served as senior copywriter with the company’s merchandising team. In her prior career with Sferra, she was marketing manager. That post is now held by Liz Rapelye, who is working with Shields on the company’s marketing efforts.
