Housewares is an expanding presence at AmericasMart in Atlanta, where there are now more than 400 exhibitors ready for the International Gift & Home Furnishings market Jan. 11–18.
A 13-foot-wide corridor has been built to connect the eighth floor of Building 2 to the eighth floor Building 2 WestWing, allowing attendees easier access to all segments leading right up to the gourmet demonstration kitchen.
AmericasMart said leasing has been “robust” on the gourmet/housewares and tabletop/living and entertaining segments, both in new showrooms and expansions. Among the major new activity:
Bormioli Rocco is opening its first corporate showroom in Atlanta and will have 552 square feet in 8114A.
White Ginger, a rep company featuring gifts, stationery and entertainment products, will be located in 811, Building 2.
A la carte, a sales representative firm whose lines include Atlantis, Dr. Vranges, Lifetime Brands, Ego-Alter, et al Designs, Secrets de Provence, La Mediteranea, Lunares, Paderno, Rosenthal, Versace, Traditional Sud, Thomas, Sambonet and Vista Alegre/Atlantis, now has 2,678 square feet of space located at 893.
Keller Charles, which offers gifts and tabletop accessories, is opening a showroom at 931B.
Welcome Home, a rep firm selling exclusive tabletop lines, will open a showroom on the ninth floor of Building 2, 933.
Annie Modica is opening a 603-square-foot showroom in 828B to showcase her handmade decoupage butler-style trays, lazy susans, wastebaskets, tissue box covers and stools.
PJ Maxwell, which offers household gadgets, has 311 square feet of space located at 8101A.
Browne Co., a high-end housewares company, is opening its first corporate showroom in Atlanta and will have 221 square feet of space located at 874B.
Red Vanilla and its line of tabletop, housewares and gifts will open a 968 square foot showroom at 801A.
Jason Products, which offers gift and entertaining accessories, will be located at 936A.
K. Hall, which offers lifestyle accessories, will be located at 936B.
In addition, several companies have renewed their leases, including Hermes, Rothschild Farms, Arnold Larson, Salem Baking, LS Arts, Delectable Samplings, Rolf Glass, Eucalyptus Stoneware, Sweet Shop USA, Columbia Empire, Specialty Food Sales, Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton, Reed & Barton, Mariposa, Sterling Tea, Teas Etc., Plentiful Pantry, Wild Hare Design, Wine-A-Rita, Mila Brown International, Gracies Garden, Golden Rabbit, Containers and Tins, D Gaber & Associates, Pelican Bay, Anna Griffin, Rochard, The Nest Showroom and Low Country Produce.
