DALLAS–With the Dallas International Lighting Market only a few months away (Jan. 14-18), the Dallas Market Center is readying itself with several showroom changes and educational lighting seminars.

New, expanded and relocated showrooms for January include Bazz, a Canadian recessed lighting company that will be in #3832 Trade Mart; American-De Rosa, now located in #3135 Trade Mart in an expanded space; Philips Lighting, which includes Lightolier, Forecast and Thomas, has an expanded showroom; and R.A.M. will be relocated to #4311 Trade Mart.
Seminars from the American Lighting Association will include “Smart Moves in Slow Times: How to Improve Your Post-Recession Positioning and Profitability” on Thursday, Jan. 14; “The Truths and the Myths of LEDs, CFLs and Energy Efficient Lighting” on Friday, Jan. 15; “Remodeling the Kitchen and Bath: Get Educated on How to Stay Ahead of the Competitors” on Saturday, Jan. 16; and “The Facts of Low Voltage Lighting: How to Avoid Financial Headaches and Liability for the Retail Showroom,” also on Saturday.
The Lighting Market Party will be held on Thursday, Jan. 14, at 6 p.m.
