NEW YORK-A newly constructed residential condominium on West End Avenue here will be the site of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s 10th annual designer showhouse.
Called Inspired Designs: A Show House Celebrating Extraordinary Women, the house will feature more than 8,000 square feet of space and is a tribute to iconic women from the worlds of fashion, style, culture and arts, from Ingrid Bergman and Coco Chanel to Annie Lennox and Michelle Obama.
Evelyn Lauder, who founded BCRF, will host the opening reception on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. The showhouse, located at 535 West End Avenue, will be opened to the public on Friday, Oct. 23, and run through Friday, Dec. 4. Admission is a $25 contribution to the BCRF.
