HICKORY, N.C.–Hickory Springs has slated the upcoming High Point Market for the introduction of The EarthCare Challenge, its consumer campaign that is intended to promote the company’s EarthCare Inside retail marketing program.
The EarthCare Challenge is a nationwide contest that will follow six contestants who will attempt to live more sustainable lifestyles. Using a reality game-show format, the contest will take place on the Web social-networking sites Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, and on EarthCareInside.com, a Web site that features Hickory Springs’ line of eco-friendly components for upholstered furniture. The contest will also offer a variety of opportunities for retailers and manufacturers who are seeking to promote their brands to consumers interested in eco-friendly lifestyles and sustainable furnishings.
A grand prize of a shopping spree for eco-friendly furniture will be awarded to the contestant who completes the most dramatic lifestyle makeover in early 2010.
