NEW YORKâBardwil Linens has reached an agreement with Tommy Bahama Group for a licensed collection of table linens under the Tommy Bahama brand.
The collection, which will be formally unveiled during the September New York Home Fashions Market, will include tablecloths, napkins and placemats, according to a joint statement from the two companies. The first shipments to retailers are scheduled for spring 2010, and the channels of distribution will mirror those of other Tommy Bahama home products, which include department stores and specialty stores.
The designs will reflect the color, texture and looks that have become signatures to the Tommy Bahama brand. The first grouping under the new license will feature sophisticated tropical florals in subdued color palettes, and more casual designs with a bright color scheme. These looks will also include a full range of placemats made with natural fibers.
Other Tommy Bahama licensees include Revman for decorative bedding and Lexington for furniture.
