ATLANTA–Six permanent exhibitors have expanded their showrooms on Floors 11, 12 and 13 in AmericasMart’s Building 1, as the market’s home category continues to grow. In addition, two area rug companies, which show exclusively at AmericasMart, have renewed their leases.
On Floor 12 of building 1, Uttermost anchors the floor with a showroom that is 13,300 square feet, or twice the size of its current space. The company will showcase its mirrors, lamps and clocks next month at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market. On the same floor, Go Home is moving to a 4,300-square-foot space. Go Home specializes in vintage-inspired home furnishings and accessories.
Atrium Foliage, is relocating and increasing to a space almost 2,000 square feet.
Englishman’s is expanding to an 8,000-square-foot space and Outdoor Designs is relocating to a more than 3,000 square foot space on Floor 11. Leftbank Art is increasing to a showroom space of almost 5,000 square feet.
For the Atlanta International Area Rug Market next month, area rug exhibitors Jerry H. Aziz Oriental Rugs and Harounian Rugs International—which have shown at AmericasMart since 1993 and 1988, respectively—have renewed their leases.
David Harounian, co-owner, Harounian Rugs, said that AmericasMart’s “management and staff make certain that the markets run efficiently, and that they are effective and have a positive impact on our business, enabling us to attract existing customers and gain exposure to new ones as well. For these reasons and anticipation of the economy improving and our sales increasing, we have extended our showroom lease for an additional three years.”
