FRANKFURT, Germany–German show organizer Messe Frankfurt is busy preparing and honing the image of its Tendence show, which takes place July 3-7. Positioning it as the first show in the second half of the year, Nicolette Naumann, vice president of Messe Frankfurt, said the show stands for “seminal design, the latest trends and valuable inspiration for the trade.”
The show will be divided into essentially three fairs, which it calls Living, Giving and Collectione. With Living and Giving, Messe Frankfurt aims to sharpen the image of Tendence as a platform for products for the home and for gift giving. Collectione encompasses seasonal decorations and outdoor items geared to the mass channel, or “bulk buyers” from retail chains, department stores and wholesale florists.
Tendence will also feature a showcase for young designers to show off their work.
