LOS ANGELES–The Los Angeles International Textile Show, Material World and Technology Solutions will take place together at the California Market Center here beginning this fall.
The move is the result of a collaboration between CMC and Urban Expositions, manager of the Material World and Technology Solutions shows, with a goal to create a comprehensive marketplace for apparel and home-furnishings textiles. The two shows will take place together from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2.
The L.A. International Textile Show, which first took place in 1993, brings together textile mills and agents from the United States, Europe, Asia and South America. Material World and Technology Solutions are official events of the American Apparel & Footwear Association, and are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year. “The exhibit categories and geographic audience targets of Material World and Technology Solutions provide the perfect complement to (the textile market’s) show offerings,” said Joanne Lee, CMC senior vice president.
