EMERYVILLE, Calif.–The Companion Group has named Tom Lengyel as key account manager for the mass market, sporting good and grocery divisions. Based in Atlanta, Lengyel brings with him 12 years of experience in the barbecue industry. He worked most recently for Landmann USA, which manufactures firepits, fireplace grates and charcoal and gas grills. Before that he was at private label charcoal manufacturer Royal Oak Charcoal.
“He is so well-suited to our company’s mission with years of experience in the industry and an amazing work ethic,” said Sharon Woulf, national sales manager. “I am so excited to have him join our team.”
Lengyel succeeds Barbara Fiorentino and reports to Sharon Woulf, national sales manager.
