EL PASO, Texas–Bart Plaumann, president of Helen of Troy’s retail personal-care division, has left the company.
Plaumann joined Helen of Troy in February 2007. He was responsible for the operations regarding the company’s retail personal-products, including its brush, comb and accessory division, and reported directly to Gerald Rubin, chairman, president and chief executive officer. Before joining Helen of Troy, Plaumann held executive positions with Jarden Consumer Solutions and The Holmes Group.
In a statement released this morning, Rubin said Helen of Troy has begun a search for Plaumann’s successor.
