KEWASKUM, Wis.–Regal Ware has announced that Jim Dorn, who began his career at the cookware company in 1964, has retired from the company as of Jan. 1.
He held a number of sales positions while at Regal Ware, and was most recently vice president for the food-service division, which he took on in 2003. He was also responsible for Regal Ware’s re-entry into the high-end retail market with new collections, such as American Kitchen and Marcus.
Coinciding with Dorn’s retirement, Randy Schickert has been named senior vice president for retail and custom brands, assuming responsibility for the company’s strategy plan development and execution for the retail, contract and private-label sectors. Schickert joined Regal Ware in August 2007 as vice president for worldwide product development and procurement.
In addition, Chris Robason has been appointed national sales manager, retail, from his post of sales manager for the retail division.
“We are grateful for the years of service that Jim Dorn spent in promoting Regal Ware products,” said Jeffrey Reigle, president and chief executive officer. “Devoting 45 years of his career to our company demonstrates the importance he has played personally and professionally to Regal Ware’s history.”
