LAS VEGAS–The Living Green Pavilion will be situated in a new space, Room 220 in Building B, at the World Market Center for the upcoming Las Vegas Market.
The pavilion was located on the fifth floor of Building C for the July Las Vegas Market. In its new space, it will highlight earth-friendly products among the case goods, bamboo, accessories, lighting and bedding categories. The market will also offer seminars on ecological issues, including Ab Fab Nursery, featuring Paige Rein of HGTV and focusing on earth-friendly nurseries; a session on California’s new regulations for composite wood; and the Brave New World Environmental Leadership Series, which will spotlight education, trends and international influences in the sustainable-home-furnishings movement.
“As consumer demand for [sustainable products] rises, retailers have to be ready to meet demand,” said Margaret Casey, director of programming for the World Market Center. “We’re focusing on growing as a credible destination for sustainable and eco-friendly furniture and furnishings.”
